Keep It Green
In 2008, Melissa was the host of EquatorHD's “Keep It Green”, a half-hour program that included Melissa's interviews plus green segments from the field. The show's goal was to provide solutions and empower people to create positive change.
In the studio, Melissa interviewed guests on topics ranging from microfinance to marine conservation, from sustainable business to human rights. Her guests have included leading experts with groups such as Doctors Without Borders, the United Nations, the Audubon Society and the Jane Goodall Institute. Her special volunteer segments linked social justice with the green movement, as Melissa showed what it's like to volunteer for a day with accomplished non-profits such as Habitat for Humanity, Dress for Success and the Food Bank for New York City.
