Melissa Mansfield is the host of Equator HD's “Keep It Green” (Wed/8pm/EST), airing April 23, 2008.

She draws on her passion for green living and her expertise in environmentalism and social justice to interview experts with groups such as Doctors Without Borders, the Audubon Society, NOAA, Interface, Grameen Bank and Popular Science.

"Keep It Green" is a half-hour program that includes Melissa's interviews plus green segments from the field, such as eco tips for home design.

The goal is to educate, entertain and, most importantly, inspire viewers to take action. "Keep It Green" is all about providing solutions and empowering people to create positive change.

Equator HD is the first high-definition television network dedicated to world adventure and green living. Part of the VOOM HD Networks suite of HD channels, Equator HD is available in the US on Echostar's DISH Network and Cablevision's iO digital cable platform.
